Install and Configuration

You can build bounceHammer with the configure script and the make(1) program like compiling Apache, PostgreSQL, and generic GNU software. Visit the following links to build, install, and configure bounceHammer.

1. Get the tarball Download the tarball and expand it.
2. ./configure Preparation before building
3. Perl modules Install perl modules which are required by bounceHammer
4. make && make install Build and install
5. Setting up database Setting Up database for storing parsed data
6. Directory structure Check directory structure after installation

After you have installed bounceHammer successfully, please create and edit configuration files of bounceHammer.

7. Create the main configuration file bouncehammer.cf
8. Create the WebUI configuration file webui.cf
9. Create configuration file neighbor-domains for your own classification
10. Create configuration file available-countriesfor define your MTA

After you have created the configuration files of bounceHammer, Visit the following links.

12. Prepare HTTP-API of bounceHammer
13. Register email domain names which are under your control
14. Periodically run bounceHammer by the /etc/crontab
