6) Edit Mastertable

bounceHammer's WebUI/Mastertables is for refering and editing the contents of the following mastertables: Addresser (sender's email address), SenderDomain (the domain part of Addresser), Destination (the domain part of recipient's email address), Reason (of email bounce), HostGroup (grouped by destination), and Provider (more detailed of HostGroup).

Controlling by etc/webui.cf

Some mastertables can be turned on "Read Only" mode from the operations on WebUI only by editing etc/webui.cf . If many users can access bounceHammer/WebUI, you may turn on "Read Only" mode for avoiding destruction of the records on the database.

Read Only Mode

The mastertables which are turned on "Read Only" mode are not updated and deleted from WebUI only. But "Read Only" mode is not affected by the operation of the command line tool (bin/tablectl command).

At command line tool

bin/tablectl command has the same function.
